Changing People's Lives & Saving the Planet Everyday!

The uMngeni RegenCAN FD+ Compact is a Regenerative Earth initiative whose primary objective is to provide community resilience orientated work for impoverished individuals in exchange for food, utilities, and goods & services that have been donated by donors. The FOOD plus token (FD+) is used exclusively by the RegenCAN Indigent FD+ Compact. Volunteers from the uMngeni #Volunteer4SA Chapter can fund the local FD+ Compact by paying RegenCAN workers to work on their 10 Ecosystem Restoration Interventions!

Collective Action

We can end Loadshedding

The day has arrived for South Africans to join hands and put an end to loadshedding. How?

Step 1: Switch off your geyser and pool pump during peak hours.

Step 2: Install a solar water heater or a heat pump.

Step 3: Install a solar PV system.

Skills Training

Learn with #Volunteer4SA

One of the primary objectives of #Volunteer4SA is skills development. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn a wide range of new skills while they are volunteering. Volunteers can use their volunteerism (work experience) and new skills to enhance their CV — and get a job!

Open Access Courses

Non-Certificate Courses

Open access non-certificate courses are offered by individuals and organisations. Courses come in many forms — some are online and others are in person; and some are a combination of both. Subjects vary from building & farming to creative writing & sewing and more.

A DIY culture and possessing many life skills will become more important as we transition to a localised economic system.

Reduced Price Courses

Certificate Courses

The Regenerative Systems Design Course — RSD Course — offers 48 certificate qualifications.

Many other reduced price certificate courses will be offered by training organisations that wish to help our volunteers to get better qualified. Access to these courses is limited to South African volunteers that have AV tokens.
